A Note on Assignment Type:
This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid", working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (excluding breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.
Scope
·Manage the planning, design, delivery, and implementation of architecture solutions for large, complex I&IT projects to meet critical business requirements of ministry clients and affect external stakeholders.
·Develop architectural artifacts, conduct reviews, and perform assessments to support the creation of ministry or enterprise-wide architectures, reference models, and I&IT projects.
·Collaborate with clients to develop secure application architectures for complex, high-availability, high-integrity, and high-confidentiality applications, typical in Justice applications.
Assignment Deliverables
·Develop/review business architecture artifacts as part of the Enterprise Information Architecture Federated Framework and ensures that these are integrated.
·Create, review, provide input, and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all corporate or cluster checkpoints as required
·Create architecture documents such as data models (Conceptual/Logical/Physical) including integration of applications and information as required.
·Business models at enterprise and/or core business levels - Design capability models and related architectural solutions of business tasks, mapping capability functionality to the internal and external resources
·Develop and maintain architectural controls that are in alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services’ processes and standards
·Review standards and document business process flows, business logic, code dependencies, etc.
·Perform required analysis - business requirements, prepare functional/non-functional specifications & detail designs
·Create use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture, as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures.
·Consults with appropriate teams on specific business architecture elements and conducts focused group meetings to meet the deliverables.
·Participate in Knowledge transfer

A Note on the VOR Master Service Agreement:
The VOR Master Service Agreement which expires on April 5, 2025, leaves some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 2025-26. If the current statement of work expires on March 31, 2025, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31, 2025, based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable, only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5, 2025, and be upon the same terms, conditions, and covenants contained in the SOW.
The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.
Experience and Skillset Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
·Proven experience and expertise with the development of Business Architecture artifacts for PaaS solutions utilizing PowerApps and SharePoint
·Successfully completed business architecture deliverables in government settings or similar large IT organization
·At least 10 years of experience in reviewing, collaborating and creating Architectural artifacts (like Solution Requirement Document, Business Architecture Document. Information Architecture Document, Solution Architecture Document)
Desired Skills and Experience
·Knowledge and experience with a wide range of methods, techniques and tools for enterprise architecture deliverables such as, but not limited to: business functional modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping and other related disciplines
·Experience in converting client requirements and functional/non-functional specifications to architectural design artifacts with effort estimation
·Expertise in generating Entity relationship diagrams to describe the relation between different entities.
·Experience in modeling the business at the enterprise and/or core business levels for transformation initiatives
·Knowledge of life cycle methodologies for systems/software development for business applications and systems specifications design; software design, development, and integration; user interface design principles; database concepts; data and information architecture.
·Excellent analytical, problem-solving and, decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
